On the sidelines of the 10th meeting of the pilot cooperation group between OLAF and its partners, held on June 27–28, 2022, in Brussels, the European Commission’s Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) and Mauritania’s General State Inspectorate (IGE)—which currently holds the FIGE presidency—signed an administrative and technical cooperation agreement, thereby demonstrating their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fight against fraud and corruption.

The agreement was signed by the State Inspector General, Mr. El-Hassen ZEIN, and the Director-General of OLAF, Mr. Ville ITÄLÄ.
