
Un protocole d’entente sur un partenariat technique a été signé entre la Vice-Présidence Intégrité de la Banque Mondiale et le Forum des Inspections Générales d’État d’Afrique et institutions assimilées (FIGE), le 14 mai 2024 lors d’une cérémonie par visioconférence.
The World Bank’s Integrity Vice-Presidency is an independent body responsible for investigating allegations of fraud, corruption and other illegal activities relating to projects and activities financed by the World Bank Group, its suppliers and its staff, as well as for managing risks and implementing best practices in fraud and corruption prevention. He reports directly to the President of the World Bank Group.
The agreement establishes a platform for close cooperation aimed at preventing and combating corruption and fraud.

Cooperation and collaboration between the parties involved in this administrative agreement includes, among other things, the joint organisation of human capacity-building activities and activities dedicated to raising awareness of issues of integrity, impartiality and probity, the fight against corruption, and the promotion and use of new information technologies in the performance of their respective duties.
This new partnership will enable FIGE to improve control practices and strengthen mechanisms for preventing and detecting fraud, corruption and other illegal activities.
