Mr. Hassan Issa Sultan

Inspector General of the State of the Republic of Djibouti, Executive Secretary of FIGE

Dear Members, Dear Visitors,

Welcome to the website of the Forum of African State Inspectorates General and Similar Institutions! We are delighted to present our community to you.

The network currently comprises 27 member oversight institutions in 20 African countries.

The Forum of African State Inspectorates General and Similar Institutions (FIGE) is an African organization established in February 2006 in Djibouti (Republic of Djibouti), following an international conference organized by the State Inspectorate General of the Republic of Djibouti, at the initiative of the State Inspectorates General of five African countries: Senegal, Chad, Burkina Faso, Mauritania, and Djibouti.

In a constantly evolving environment, it is essential to maintain continuous reflection on structural and institutional reforms to promote the principles of good governance, the fight against corruption, and asset recovery.

To meet these requirements, FIGE creates conditions that foster synergy among its member institutions through the promotion of dialogue, consultation, and experience sharing, with the aim of contributing to strengthening public sector performance and the fight against corruption in Africa.

The pursuit of excellence and professionalism are values integrated into our respective institutions, which FIGE strives to strengthen.

This website not only contributes to disseminating our organization’s activities but also aims to be a space for interaction and exchange among FIGE members.

Please feel free to discover, interact, and collaborate with us.

I wish you a pleasant visit!
