Forum of African State Inspectorates General
The mission of the Forum of African State Audit Institutions and Similar Bodies (FIGE) is to strengthen the effectiveness of administrative oversight and public governance in Africa
- Encourage consultation and cooperation between the General Inspectorates of Member States
- Harmonise control, audit and evaluation methods and practices
- Supporting the development of institutional capacities of state oversight bodies
- Promoting transparency, accountability and good governance in public administration
- Promote information sharing and knowledge dissemination, particularly through a shared documentation centre.
