
The heads of FIGE delegations present in Abidjan, led by the president of the Steering Committee, the Inspector General of State of Côte d’Ivoire (Mr. Théophile N’Doli) and the Executive Secretary, Mr. Hassan Issa Sultan (IGE of Djibouti) were received in audience at the Presidency of the Republic by the Vice-President of Côte d’Ivoire SEM. Daniel Kablan Ducan at the beginning of the evening of Friday, June 22, 2018.
The Vice-President of Côte d’Ivoire took the opportunity to recall the importance of holding such a meeting in Abidjan, affirming that the President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire is following the proceedings and remains open to any proposals for reform, and to any recommendations aimed at improving the institutional arrangements of our institutions, in particular the General State Inspectorate and the general framework for public sector control and audit. He expressed his conviction that all the heads of state of the countries of Africa who authorized the participation of high delegations present at this meeting of great importance follow with great interest, the conclusions and recommendations which will result from this colloquium. He also stated that the President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Mr. Alassane Ouattara, pays particular attention to the activities of FIGE and guarantees Côte d’Ivoire’s unwavering support for this important organization which is helping to consolidate its role major of the Supreme Audit Institutions in the governance of our countries.
